Service Offer swisscovery

Our basic services include the use of swisscovery. These services include not only access to the systems but also additional services, training programmes and comprehensive support.

At SLSP, we apply the same standardised, transparent, cause-orientated and sustainable fee model to all cus-tomers. The annual cost of the basic services is calculated as follows:

• Library size as a basis: The costs are based on the number of full-time equivalent employees (FTE), which acts as an indicator for the size of the library.
• Named Users: We also take account of the number of registered professional user accounts in swisscovery for people working in the Alma core system, known as ‘Named Users’. This gives institu-tions the option of managing their costs by economically administering their number of Named Users.

Because SLSP is non-profit-making, a principle anchored in its articles of association, any surpluses are pro-cessed fairly and transparently: they are repaid to our customer institutions the following year or set off against their basic fixed fee for the following year.
