In so doing, both organisations are creating a common basis for the coordinated further development of services in the field of print archiving and the long-term preservation of academic and patrimonial library collections in Switzerland.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The collaboration will focus on the development and joint presentation of services for the storage and long-term preservation of analogue and digital media, their documentation in a shared catalogue and the development of complementary infrastructure services for libraries. The aim is to simplify access to these services for libraries and users and to strengthen national coordination.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Through this partnership, SLSP and the storage library are making an important contribution to the long-term preservation of Switzerland\u2019s academic and cultural heritage. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SLSP Swiss Library Service Platform AG and the Cooperative Storage Library Switzerland Association (CSLS) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
