Yet in many institutions, the collection and analysis of usage data still relies on a combination of automated interfaces, local reporting tools and manual workflows.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:2,&quot;335559740&quot;:300}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">To explore new approaches in this area, SLSP (Swiss Library Service Platform) has launched a joint pilot project with the Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries (CSAL), \u00c9cole Polytechnique F\u00e9d\u00e9rale de Lausanne (EPFL), Universit\u00e9 de Gen\u00e8ve (UNIGE), Couperin Consortium and Inist-CNRS. The project focuses on evaluating ReadMetrics, an open-source software suite developed by Couperin and Inist-CNRS to collect, enrich, process and visualise usage data for electronic resources.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:2,&quot;335559740&quot;:300}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The pilot project combines the expertise of libraries, consortia and technology partners across Switzerland and France. In its first phase, participating institutions contributed use cases, requirements and feedback through a structured survey.
