The SLSP libraries affiliated to swisscovery have agreed on a uniform pricing for services which a user can demand from a library, for example document delivery and requests for digital copies.

Generally, the normal fee is applied. The augmented fee is charged to commercial organizations and foreign organizations. Sending copies to users abroad is not permitted. Such orders may only be placed by InterLibrary Loan (see below).
swisscovery users can borrow books from all libraries taking part in the SLSP Courier and order them to the desired pickup library, also taking part in the SLSP Courier. The List of Libraries shows whether a library participates in the SLSP Courier.

If the copies must be printed due to copyright law or terms of contract and digital delivery is not allowed, the price for digital copies can be applied. If the item cannot be delivered at this defined price, the user will be consulted.

In general, libraries charge fines for overdue notifications when items are not returned in time.
The overdue levels are structured as follows: A free reminder is followed by three overdue notifications after a certain period of time. After the 3rd Overdue Notification, the patron will be blocked until he/she returns the overdue item or when the item is set to the status “lost”.
All notifications will be sent by email, the 3rd Overdue Notification will additionally be printed and can optionally be sent as letter by the library.
There will be no Reminder or Overdue Notifications for Reading Room items.
